- Enable hosted SMS/MMS messaging on the number(s) listed above through Telnyx's messaging platform.
- Communicate with the current carrier(s) of record (the "Losing Carrier") on Customer's behalf solely for the purpose of releasing SMS routing.
- Sign and submit any associated forms, configuration changes, or technical orders required by the Losing Carrier or any intermediary registry to complete the SMS enablement.
Voice service is not affected. This authorization expressly does NOT authorize any change to the underlying voice telephone service, nor any port, transfer, or disconnect of voice service for any of the number(s) listed.
Term. This authorization is effective on the date signed below and remains in effect until the SMS enablement is complete or until revoked in writing by Customer.
Authority. I represent and warrant that I am authorized to make this delegation on behalf of Customer and that the information provided is true and accurate.

E-SIGN consent. By typing my name as the signature above and clicking "Submit to Telnyx" on the next step, I am signing this document electronically pursuant to the U.S. ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.) and intend my electronic signature to have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
Review & submit
When you submit, we send the order to Telnyx and they coordinate with the losing carrier on the SMS hosting handoff. Voice service stays exactly as it is.
Your signed LOA will be downloaded automatically when you submit, and uploaded to Telnyx as part of the order. We don't keep a copy on our servers — only you and Telnyx have it.
- Telnyx accepts the order and notifies the losing carrier
- Carrier reviews and releases SMS routing (typically same business day for Bandwidth / major carriers, 1–3 days for ILECs)
- Number activates — we'll text and email you the moment it does
